Stock Photography

I have an ever growing portfolio of high resolution, top quality stock photos available online with many of the world’s leading stock photography agencies. A large portion of my stock portfolio is listed at microstock prices (What is Microstock Photography?) which means you can license many of my photos at full resolution for less than $20 USD each.

Some agencies handle my editorial stock; some represent my higher priced stock; and others do better with my travel stock photos. There are many reasons why I list my images where I do; but my most common stock photography is listed with microstock agencies.

Since I have an exhaustive list of agencies I work with, I do not plan to list them all here. I would also rather my clients purchase my images directly from me. Agencies represent your images and help sell them, but they usually keep most of the sale.

Microstock Photography Agencies I Recommend:

Dreamstime has earned my respect as an agency for their fairness to both artists and image buyers. If you are not already using a microstock agency, I highly recommend Dreamstime. If you are looking to license one of my images and you have found it on Dreamstime, I recommend purchasing it there. Like with any microstock agency, Dreamstime chooses which images they want to represent. If you are interested in an image of mine that is NOT available at Dreamstime, I would then recommend trying ClusterShot.

ClusterShot represents a large portion of my microstock photography portfolio with the least amount of overhead. If you feel the artist should receive the lion’s share of the profit on their products, please view and purchase my images from them. ClusterShot is the first site I upload my images to which means they usually have the best selection of my work.

Another feature I like about ClusterShot is they allow you to “make an offer” for an image from my portfolio. I like this because not everyone wanting an image will be using it commercially.

If you like an image and want to hang it on your wall, I would not expect you to pay full price for the image as if you were using it in your advertisement. If you want an image of mine for very limited use (as in to just print and hang or to use for personal reasons), go ahead and make me an offer that is less than the full price. I will usually accept it if it’s not too low.

Other Microstock Photography Agencies I Recommend:

Frankly, if I do not like the agency, I will not let them represent my images.  The following microstock agencies are still great; they are just not the first one I recommend.  All of them have their pros and cons.  Maybe one of these stock agencies is a better fit for you.
